When I go on hikes and look at the mountains around me I feel them talking to me. They share stories of what they've seen, all the animals and humans they've sheltered, the countless seasons they've been through, and yet they still remain majestic and unshakable. They are still, rooted deeply in the earth, reach the sky and have been around for thousands of years.
A couple weeks ago I went on a hike with my one year old son and he started waving at them. He is already attuned to the energy of the great wise mountains and I'm convinced he heard them speak too. It’s no surprise though as children tend to be more connected than adults to all the magic around them.
Today the card picked is asking that you stand firm and rooted in who you are. Like a mountain, be unshakable in your true self. Whatever the seasons, whoever comes in and out of your life, stand your ground and stay rooted. Tap into the energy of the wise mountain within.
